Yes. It would a continental congress would be bad because it would leave things wide open.

While it's good to see folks "awakening" some to the loss of states rights, I find it very troublesome that some of the talking heads are proponents of a very dangerous Article V Constitutional Convention. We can all find some things we'd like the Constitution amended for, a balanced budget amendment perhaps, but that should be done through the traditional means of amendment and ratification by the states. A Con-Con leaves the whole thing open for a re-write. Not to mention the rules for ratification, or lack there-of. Remember, there's only one precedent. That's how we have the Constitution as we now know it, and lost the Articles of Confederation. Given the state of current politics, to even begin to think that the current congress would stand by the wishes of the State Legislatures would be foolish and naive. Youtube "Beware Article V".
