Does anyone hear any reporting on the national level about the Sovereignty movement? No? Nor do I but I hear plenty about the shoes Mrs. Obama is wearing and the new dog seems to be doing well.
Do not even imagine this is being ignored at the Federal level, you can just bet committees have formed and they are holding meetings even as I type. It is not in the Feds so therefore not in the national media's interest that this receive attention.
Way to go Alaska!!!! Put the pen that Gov. Palin signs with up for auction. I will start with $100.00!!!!

Monorprise - some important points. These resolutions are doing quite a bit - they're waking up a powerful grassroots movement. And, in the end, it's the people themselves who are going to have to demand that the federal government be restrained.

The noted problem with main stream politicians is their correct point in that theses are teethless, and that alone the States are weak. While theses things are true, what is also true is that together the States are the strongest force that exists in the union.

It is for that reason that theses resolutions are both useful and meaningful in announcing the States intentions, clearing the way for other states to more confidently take ever more bold actions in the knowledge of the support of their sister States.

That is what we aim to achieve with theses resolutions, a kind of roll call, and just as importantly a warring.

The first step to fighting an expanding federal government is to undermine its legitimacy, theses resolutions do that!
