Apparently you are one of the many that just reads the Constitution and then go blindly forward and try to determine what it means. One needs to read the History of the Colonies, the Articles of Confederation, the Constitution, and all the papers and articles written during the period the They were all written. When you learn the reasons our history gave us the Constitution then you will not have any problem understanding what it means, Did you read something conclusive about your statement that capitalism has been perverted to retain the wealth of the elite at all expense, or did you stand or sit, while some talking head told you that this was a fact. While you read about our history, ask yourself the five W’s of an organized investigation. Who, What, When, Where and Why. If you do this you will also find the people in history that were/are responsible for most of the problems you have documented, that have botched the meaning of this document. Remember this, the Declaration of Independence documents that all men were endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, one of those noted is the pursuit of happiness. This means one needs to get up, get moving and get it done. One cannot just sit and wait for it to happen.

I've noticed that most people on the left don't look at conservative ideas as something they disagree with but as something that is inherently immoral. I've notice that is they really don't want to have a rational conversation with you because it devolves into your conservative position is immoral and then they find all the reason why it is. How do have a rational conversation with someone when all they want to do is talk about why your political beliefs are morally inferior? It is almost like you are not discussing how government should run but comparing different theological beliefs between you and them. It is like saying the world is round to a muslim but then tells you that thinking that is immoral. That is what it feels like to me.

I don't help causes that align themselves with enemies of our constitution and our Republic. You call Code Pink your ally, and that doesn't sit right with me, and many others. If Hitler supported your cause, you would embrace his sorry ass too. You say everyone should have the right to gather and peacefully protest, even Code Pink, and I agree. Let them dance!! Dance with the racists, dance with the Jew haters, dance with Satan himself. After they help you dance, will you support Code Pink's causes as well? Tit-for-Tat? What have you gained if Code Pink supports your cause to defend free speech, if they also support the dissolution of America for globalization of government, abolishment of America's sovereignty, and redistribution of wealth, in direct opposition to our constitution? You hypocrite.

Log your voice to end the war on drugs and begin the healing of trust between your family members and neighbors. With government pushing drugs on kids in grade school onward and then punishing them for using the very thing they introduced them to as young impressionable minds, what chance does this give a kid? End the failed policy/policing on drug usage. Freedom of choice is paramount in a society lauded as being freechoice. Tell the government to end this waste of tax money and to quit putting people in jail for a personal choice that creates no victims yet devastates families both monetarily and emotionally. <a href="http://www.avaaz.org/en/end_the_war_on_drugs/?copy" rel="nofollow">http://www.avaaz.org/en/end_the_war_on_drugs/?cop...</a>

While I don't see the constitution as valueless it does have some severe flaws mostly in how one interprets the clauses because of what we were taught was purposeful ambiguity.

If we take the right to keep and bare arms. I don't interpret it anywhere near what the gun lobbyists would have you do. Guns where allowed under the premise that we wouldn't have a standing army and that those that had arms would serve in a national guard type defense. But most Americans are convinced that it was to protect your personal property while in reality it was to protect the country from its own or foreign governments.

Now that we have a standing army which is explicitly prohibited over a certain number of days without challenge, we have also given them weapons that are far superior to the ones that we would use to protect ourselves from them. How can that work? They could drop a bomb among us and take us all out. We no longer have control over our government because of the standing army. Until we have control equal to or better than our own government we can never control them. Let's not forget what happens to those in the service. They are brainwashed to defend this country at all costs and those like Bradly Manning are imprisoned for exposing the deceitful tactics of our government. We also have the CIA operative that is currently facing charges of treason for blowing the whistle. Exactly how many enlisted personal are really going to understand what side of the law they are on and how many of those would even be willing to risk what they see as their jobs to truly protect The Constitution; assuming that they can even read through the perversion of The Constitution as it is understood by most Americans?

How many Americans can you even get to understand that the capitalism in our country has been perverted to retain wealth of the elite at all expense. In a truly just society those that made wealth off the backs of the slaves should have been taken to court and been made to at least hand over a large portion of their wealth to pay back those that were harmed. Instead the country or it's government has refused to do anything for those harmed and instead locks them up in prisons or condemns them to low-income areas where they have little chance of escaping.

So I say once again, until we can truly have a constitution that we all can agree on it's meaning we have no constitution. Until we have a police force that treats elites like the ex-IMF leader as the common man we have no chance at justice. I know damn well if I had pulled a similar act as the IMF chief I wouldn't be living in a multi-million dollar home in Manhattan. I'd be taken to Riker's Island but quick. This goes back to the same problem as the army...the police just like the grunts are trained to do what they are told WITHOUT question and even though they take an oath they blindly accept what they are told to do.
