Since its inception, the Federal Reserve’s monetary policies have led to a decline of over 95% in the purchasing power of the U.S. dollar. As a result, there have been several attempts to reduce or even eliminate the Federal Reserve’s powers.
Louis T. McFadden led efforts in the 1930s. Wright Patman pressed again in the 1970s. Henry Gonzalez got things moving in the 1990s. And, Ron Paul has led the charge for more than twenty years now. In nearly eighty years, though, none of these efforts have succeeded.
And, even with House passage of Ron Paul’s Audit the Fed bill earlier today, it’s highly unlikely that the imperial Senate would ever allow light to be shed on the actions of its financial backer. Resistance to these efforts is seriously entrenched.
But yet, a large number of people across the political spectrum want to know what goes on behind the Fed’s curtain. And with calls to audit the federal reserve reaching a fevered pitch, it’s a good time to ask the basic question – is this even a worthy effort?
Not to say that you should want a secret national bank, but rather – is this kind of activism the best place for you to put your energy…and hope? Will lobbying the Senate get Harry Reid to allow a vote? Will calling Mitch McConnell change anything? Will Barack Obama or Mitt Romney allow such a bill to pass without their veto?
I believe the answer to all these questions is a big, fat NO.
PULLING THE RUG OUT
On the other hand, in contrast to attempts to put a stop to the Fed at the national level, a paper that William Greene presented at the Mises Institute’s “Austrian Scholars Conference” proposes an alternative approach to ending the Federal Reserve’s monopoly on money. The “Constitutional Tender Act” is a bill template that can be introduced in every State legislature in the nation. Passage would return each of them to the Constitution’s “legal tender” provisions of Article I, Section 10:
“No State Shall…make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts”
Such a tactic would achieve the desired goal of abolishing the Federal Reserve system by attacking it from the bottom up – pulling the rug out from under it by working to make its functions irrelevant at the State and local level.
Under the Constitutional Tender Act, the State would be required to use only gold and silver coins – or their equivalents, such as checks or electronic transfers – for payments of any debt owed by or to the State. This includes things like taxes, fees, contract payments, and the like.
All such payments would be required to be denominated in legal tender gold and silver U.S. coins, including Gold Eagles, Silver Eagles, and pre-1965 90% silver coins. The market would then require that all State-chartered banks – as well as any other bank acting as a depository for State funds – offer accounts denominated in those types of gold and silver coins, and to keep such accounts segregated from other types of accounts such as Federal Reserve Notes.
But that’s not all! Not only would the use of Federal Reserve Notes by the State be made illegal; the use of legal tender U.S. gold and silver coins would be encouraged amongst the general population too – by eliminating sanctions against its use.
HOW IT PLAYS OUT
Passage of the Constitutional Tender Act would introduce currency competition with Federal Reserve Notes by outlawing their use in transactions with the State. Ordinary people, being required to pay their State taxes in gold and silver coins, would find it necessary to conduct some transactions with metal – including the use of checks and debit cards based on bank accounts denominated in such coins
All businesses operating within the State, being required to pay their State sales taxes and license fees in gold and silver coins, would need to do the same. Most importantly, though, in order for businesses to acquire the amount of gold and silver needed, they find it necessary to offer their goods and services in “dual currency” denominations, where customers could choose to pay in Federal Reserve Notes or gold and silver coins.
This kind of “bottom up” approach to ending the Fed will have a greater likelihood of success than the “top-down” approaches we’ve seen over the years for two major reasons:
1. The top-down approach has been an utter failure. While it has succeeded greatly in an educational role, it has simply not worked tactically.
2. It’s decentralized. Political opposition won’t be as strong or well-funded on a state level. Strategies and tactics can be adapted much quicker. And, most importantly, success in one state can be a far greater educational tool – and a source of courage – for people of a neighboring state, than endless calls to a Congress which almost never does what’s right.

Greene tells us that use of sound money would drive further use. He writes:
“Over time, as residents of the State use both Federal Reserve Notes and silver and gold coins, the fact that the coins hold their value more than Federal Reserve Notes do will lead to a “reverse Gresham’s Law” effect, where good money (gold and silver coins) will drive out bad money (Federal Reserve Notes). As this happens, a cascade of events can begin to occur, including the flow of real wealth toward the State’s treasury, an influx of banking business from outside of the State – as people in other States carry out their desire to bank with sound money – and an eventual outcry against the use of Federal Reserve Notes for any transactions.”
Once things get to that point, Federal Reserve notes would become largely unwanted and irrelevant for ordinary people. Nullifying the Fed on a state by state level is what will get us there.
Without a single act of Congress, the Federal Reserve system can be brought to its knees.

A N A C T
To establish a breach of Constitutional Rights, and endangerment to National Security, for said FEMA Detention Centers, Execution devices, known as Guillotines, AND THE RED; BLUE; AND YELLOW LISTS, that act as death penalties, for such devices, including the FEMA Gas Chambers.
SHORT TITLE SECTION 1.

SECTION 2.
(a) In order to assure that the U.S. Constitution with Federal Laws are being upheld, the analysis of the FEMA Camps to which the U.S. govt. has blatantly denied, concealed, conspired by Secret Society Organizations-Influence, and Covered-Up, either by conspiracy, or cold blooded murder, to which no Due Process Of Law was utilized to initiate such executions; thus known as cold blooded murder: is to be seriously looked into. Otherwise, by the rights of WE THE PEOPLE, who outnumber by this great nation, and/or the world in general; the corrupt government by 99 to 1 of the Elites, and Corrupt Politicians who want an evil, New World Order, have the right to turn over said plotted crimes of mass murder to the United Nations, to force both Speaker of the House, and U.S. President, under Federal Laws of USA, and the Geneva Convention, to resign, be impeached and sentenced to life imprisonment, or face the death penalty, as it were during the Nuremburg Trails of the NAZI’s who similar did the same sadistic, and heinous acts against the Jews, in World War II.
(b) Moreover, it also violates the established RIGHTS TO DUE PROCESS; under the Civil Liberties Act, for those who have Civil Rights, as well as Constitutional Rights. In as such, the Civil Liberties Act, is an established Union to not just stand up for those who face racial discrimination, but those who’s Civil Rights to fair and impartial judges, trials, and due process of law is being violated, in defiance of the U.S. Constitution.
DEFINITION OF FEMA COLOR CODE LISTS
(a). FEMA Red Listed American Citizens:
1. Red List – These people are the enemies of the NWO. They are the leaders of patriot groups, outspoken ministers, outspoken talk show hosts, community leaders, and even probably NET leaders. These people will be dragged out of their homes at 4:00 am and will be taken to FEMA detention centers and killed. This will take place approximately 2 weeks before martial law is enforced.
2. Blue List – these are also enemies of the NWO, but are followers of the Red List folks. These people will be rounded up after martial law is in place, and will be taken to the detention centers and ‘re-educated’. Various mind-control techniques will used on them. Most will not survive this. Mr. Springmeier was not specific on exactly who was on the Blue List, but I would guess that people such as you and I are on that list.
3. Yellow List – these are citizens who know nothing about the NWO and don’t want to know. They are considered to be no threat at all and will be instructed as to how to behave and will most likely do whatever they are told. Unfortunately there are too many of these to be effectively controlled, so many will be killed or starved.

The discs are to aid the military who fail to abide by the Sworn Oath of 10 Orders they will not follow, upon such time Declaration Of Martial Law is initiated by a President of the USA; and whereby the US Constitution is torn down, for an evil, New World Order, with one world Luciferian (Satan) Religion.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against

place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
Amendment 5 – Trial and Punishment, Compensation for Takings. Ratified 12/15/1791.
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a
presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval
forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall
any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor
shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived
of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be
taken for public use, without just compensation.
Amendment 6 – Right to Speedy Trial, Confrontation of Witnesses. Ratified 12/15/1791.
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial,
by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been
committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be
informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.
(d.) Constitutional Violations: Par 3
Amendment 8 – Cruel and Unusual Punishment. Ratified 12/15/1791.
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual
punishments inflicted.
Amendment 10 – Powers of the States and People. Ratified 12/15/1791.
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to
the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
Amendment 13 – Slavery Abolished. Ratified 12/6/1865.
1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof
the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place
subject to their jurisdiction.
2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction

without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal
protection of the laws.
2. Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their
respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding
Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for
President and Vice-President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the
Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is
denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and
citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion,
or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion
which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens

3. No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and

4. The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts
incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or

the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such

this article.
Therefore, WE THE PEOPLE demand, under this act, and the act of Grievance & Redress; that the FEMA Red, Blue, and Yellow Lists be publicly terminated, and removed; and any/all affixed reflective discs, removed from said citizens mail boxes, homes, or personal property; be it a rental, or real estate, owned by said U.S. Citizens. Just curious ruxpen4u- Have you actually sent these petitions to the top brass in this corporation called the USA? Have you been contacted in any way? However, I must confess,his balls are bgger than mine, as I have not been brave enough, to get out in public, with a loud speaker-bull horn, to confront them. Case in point. Verified Foreign Troops Training to Kill Men, Women, & Children; US Citizens
(a). National Level Exercise 2009 (NLE 09) is scheduled for July 27 through July 31, 2009. NLE 09 will be the first major exercise conducted by the United States government that will focus exclusively on terrorism prevention and protection, as opposed to incident response and recovery.
NLE 09 is designated as a Tier I National Level Exercise. Tier I exercises (formerly known as the Top Officials exercise series or TOPOFF) are conducted annually in accordance with the National Exercise Program (NEP), which serves as the nation’s overarching exercise program for planning, organizing, conducting and evaluating national level exercises. The NEP was established to provide the U.S. government, at all levels, exercise opportunities to prepare for catastrophic crises ranging from terrorism to natural disasters.
NLE 09 is a White House directed, Congressionally- mandated exercise that includes the participation of all appropriate federal department and agency senior officials, their deputies, staff and key operational elements. In addition, broad regional participation of state, tribal, local, and private sector is anticipated. This year the United States welcomes the participation of Australia, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom in NLE 09.

It sounds good in theory, but I don’t think a state’s population could get enough coinage to make it work. The cost of such coins are prohibitive. I also fear there is not enough gold and silver in circulation to make coins out of. I don’t think the rich/banks will be willing to empty their safes to start a new monetary system. I agree our federal printing/budgeting of money needs overhauling/replacing, but this plan needs more practical planning to work.

In Human terms, there is no such thing as a ”handout.’ In our daily efforts we are all given and give ‘hand ups” by way of a natural Human social construct called sharing. This objectivly reasonable system has allowed the Human species to survive in a brutish world. Can you say that you have not benefited from a hand-up in life, maybe even by shear luck of the sperm? I don’t think providing definitions (for example, of some forms of Human sharing) can ever be destructive or immoral, unless you use violence to force others to accept your definitions. And if that violence is socially sanctioned (as is the government’s), then it’s worse, and, like you said “socially destructive, and highly immoral.”
If you refuse to see the problems inherent in hegemony, you’ll draw a lot of ire from people who can. I wrote a little poem: “If you raise your voice and the people hear, well, you have to be careful what you say, ’cause you might find out if they heed your word and, in the end, that you’ve led them astray.” The 50 states’ best chances are to each pursue their own way and copy each other’s most successful efforts. I suspect the best one will be to let the millions of citizens each pursue their own way and imitate each others’ most successful efforts. I hope I’ve helped you make a bit more sense of the “the other side.” I hope someday you’ll see it yourself and join us.

I never said that markets should be eliminated. It is the concepts of free-market capitalism that I have railed on. That system must go. There is no such thing as a ‘free market.” No market is free of undue influence. Don’t kid yourself.
The banks are not refinancing the homes at the reduced market rate, they are just refinancing to get payments down through rate adjustments. Housing will no longer continue to rise at the levels we saw over the last three decades. Wages are stagnant and the people can’t pay. They deserve some form of redress for the destruction of the value of their property. They did not cause the economic crash, it was the banks that created the market for sub-prime loans that created the mess. But, if you prefer bankers to homeowners, just say it.

They were privatized a decade or so before the crash (don’t make me use wikipedia). after the crash, yes, they were nationalized again, there was no choice. But, that’s a good thing. It stabilizes the market for now. If I’m not mistaken they guarantee the mortgages rather than ‘hold’ them. But, again I’m on a time limit so if you want to check please do. It’s not relevant so much.

I find it interesting that when debt is canceled for banks and corporations it’s just fine and dandy. But suggest debt relief for the citizen and you get all upset. There is one trillion in student debt ($1,000,000,000 is 7.5% of GDP.. damn!). It will not get repaid without a major upturn in this economy. That’s not in the cards. The unemployment of college grads is huge and they are all getting behind on their repayment. The result is more people are going back to school to defer debt, but of course, that’s growing the debt bigger and faster.
Say all you want about “binding contracts,” but they are broken twice a minute in a capitalist system. It’s part of the system that one signs a lie to advance themselves without any real commitment to abide by it if it doesn’t suit them. Think about it.
But, frankly no citizen should have to go into debt for an education. To push such a system is nothing less then a form of indentured servitude. It requires people to make decisions they otherwise don’t want to. They find themselves unable to experience the world and trade their lives for one in a cubicle. It’s a stultifying way to develop generation advancement. But, a great way to make people conform to the demands of a power elite.
If you understand the concept of Liberty, you should know the foundation of Liberty is knowledge. The greater the knowledge of the citizenry the greater the liberty of the community. If you claim to be a patriot (I care little for such labels), you should demand our Government of the People create a public education system second to no other. It should be open to all citizens free of tuition to the highest level desired.
I assure you the return on that investment would advance this country beyond anything you can imagine.

No, the minimum wage is a minimum labor rate and is not intended to be a living wage. But, it has fallen behind inflation and is far under it’s purchasing prior to 1970. The Living Wage should allow anyone to house, feed, and transport themselves with dignity. Today I would say that is close to $2,400 a month (just spit balling). If you want to live up to the spirit of the founding of this nation we need more equality, not less.

Again, you’re clueless. As a disciple of the anti-federalists during ratification of the U.S. Constitution, I agree the document was and is flawed in many respects. The first major repair was the U.S. Bill of Rights. These first ten amendments alone explained our founding framework. This is what you propose must be changed in favor of big government. I’d like to share again a quote by NY Supreme Justice Yates, back in 1787, under the pseudonym Brutus. “Neither the general government, nor the state governments, ought to be vested with all the powers proper to be exercised for promoting the ends of government. The powers are divided between them … these, taken together, include all the ends of good government.” James Madison validated this thought with federalist commentary # 45. This what the Tenth Amendment Center’s debate is all about. States’ sovereign rights within our structural framework of federalism, not policy itself. Rather than corrupt further this inherited workable design of individual freedom and prosperity, you’re suggesting we subjugate it all to despotic rule. As outdated now as it is, why did our founders’ struggle through a revolutionary war? What is it you don’t understand about America’s founding principles?

I don’t understand your religious commitment to a bunch of old rich white dudes that were protecting their wealth from the King of England. There is much they did to advance the cause of Humanity and I respect their efforts. But modern thinking people can do better. The issues are far more complex and far more intergrated with world affairs than they could imagine. Remember these are people that still believed in blood letting to cure illness.
The one thing we agree on is that the current system is not working for the People any longer. The Constitution is surely an acceptable document as a starting point to moving forward. Even the highly revered slave owner T. Jefferson believed that no generation can impose their will on the next. He believed that this document would be revised every 19 years.
