But we’re in a radically different world than 250 years ago, I doubt the founding fathers could have even dreamed of television, radio, satellite, and space travel, as well as ever-growing video cameras on virtually every corner.

The problem now is if you call them on their injustices, you are persecuted for actually paying attention. See rawstory and/or google ‘badphoenixcops.com’ where one civilian blogger simply recorded his police department’s corruption, and was hit by a strike force who confiscated or destroyed everything in his possession and brought him up on charges of ‘harassment.’

The revolution was not a war, it was the implementation of the ideas of Thomas Paine among others. Government was supposed to be just a function, but it has become an entity. Our founders were completely against our government becoming an entity, most of them anyway.
