If the federal government is not requiring auto insurance, this is a state issue, and an issue of the state constitution, not the federal one.

For it to be constitutional would demand their be two rates full coverage and liability. It would also mean denial of the insurance companies our driving records, as well as records on amount of accidents that happen in a certain area of the state, denial of access to our credit records, denial of access to our ages/sex, denial of access to other information they use to set rates but even more importantly denial of us having to carry uninsured motorist vehicle insurance as well. I say this because before this horrible dreadful law was imposed upon me I could afford full coverage insurance and now I am lucky if I can afford liability. So if we are going to deem national healthcare unconstitutional then it only seems logical that we should deem the forced buying of any insurance unconstitutional as well. For truly it is the same thing and the effect will be the same as well. Those of us who can afford health insurance now will not be able to afford it once it becomes law, which is exactly what happened with the automobile insurance.
