Lew Rockwell interviews Tom Woods, on his new book, Nullification: How to Resist Federal Tyranny in the 21st Century. Thanks to the internet, Americans can learn about such forbidden ideas as the Principles of 1798, when Jefferson and Madison laid out the idea that to give the central government the sole ability to interpret the constitution was the path to tyranny, and that the states have the right and the duty to oppose tyrannical actions by the feds.
Regimists try to demonize the idea of nullification, as they attempt to demonize all ideas that undermine centralized power, but that is not scaring libertarians, Tea Party people, and other dissidents. Nullification, decentralization, self-government, self-determination, even secession: the time of these un-PC ideas is here, and the Woods book may be the handbook of the revolution.

Not only do I find the national healthcare act unconstitutional I like wise finding demanding us carry automobile insurance as unconstitutional as well. For it to be constitutional would demand their be two rates full coverage and liability. It would also mean denial of the insurance companies our driving records, as well as records on amount of accidents that happen in a certain area of the state, denial of access to our credit records, denial of access to our ages/sex, denial of access to other information they use to set rates but even more importantly denial of us having to carry uninsured motorist vehicle insurance as well. I say this because before this horrible dreadful law was imposed upon me I could afford full coverage insurance and now I am lucky if I can afford liability. So if we are going to deem national healthcare unconstitutional then it only seems logical that we should deem the forced buying of any insurance unconstitutional as well. For truly it is the same thing and the effect will be the same as well. Those of us who can afford health insurance now will not be able to afford it once it becomes law, which is exactly what happened with the automobile insurance.
Barbara - the constitution applies to the federal government, except in very few specific instances where it mentions states.
If the federal government is not requiring auto insurance, this is a state issue, and an issue of the state constitution, not the federal one.
