On August 1st at the Statehouse in Columbus, The Ohio Liberty Council will send a powerful message of group unity. For the first time, a multitude of groups like the Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus Tea Party groups, The Ohio Freedom Alliance, Ohio Free State, Buckeye Firearms Association, Cincinnati and Central Ohio 9-12 groups, Americans for Prosperity and many others will come together to make a powerful statement that we are united in the strong defense of liberty.
This event of unity and coordination is the first of its kind and an idea we hope catches on across the country. We will join forces and submit a unified declaration of grievances and principles supported by all participating groups. We will come together on August 1st specifically to support the Tenth Amendment and the State Sovereignty Resolutions currently working their way through the General Assembly in Ohio.

Bravo-- Ohio Freedom lives! Everyone.. let's roll up our sleeves and work! No time to waste- Check out the sponsoring groups and get involved after the August 1 event as well.
That's my state! I would be there if I wasn't in Iraq right now. Here I thought the masses had become too bovine to ever do anything other than just complain to the tv screen. Kudos!
Thank you for rebelling against unconstitutional usurpation of power by
Congress, the Federal Courts and the Executive branches in Washington, DC.
So what are we to do besides writing and complaining to each other? And, I am a
born and bred North Carolinian. The North Carolina Constitution prohibits state
sovereignty.
Keep, Keeping on, Ohio. I was born and reared there. Now, I live in
Tennessee. In this State, we have a Constitution that REQUIRES resistance.
Article I, Section 2, Declaration of Rights, "That government being
instituted for the common benefit, the doctrine of nonresistance against
ARBITRARY POWER and oppression is absurd, slavish, and destructive of the
good and happiness of mankind."
People need to get into their State Constitutions. Our rights were given to us by
God, not the government. If God be for us, who will be against us? Will they fight
God???? God requires our "resistance". The Star Spangled Banner, "..May the Heaven
rescued land, Praise the power that hath made and preserved us a Nation! Then
conquer we must, when our cause it is just, and this be our Motto, "In God is our
Trust" And the Star Spangled Banner in triumph shall wave, O'er the land of the Free
and the home of the Brave."
