Pete, you're right about electing fiscally-responsible candidates. But fiscal responsibility is only a small part of the constitution. There's plenty that this government does in direct violation to it, from foreign policy, to the drug war, to free speech zones and virtually everything in between.

Americans today have no sense of responsibility. Even in our schools today the idea of defending yourself against a bully is demonized. My son is told instead of fighting back he should go to the authoritys. The idea that we need to use the authoritys is being pushed apon our youth today. Knowing this it is obvious why americans believe the police keep them safe and how giving up liberty will give a solution. The police keep no one safe there only means of differing crime are thro intimidation and public displays of force. The police only respond to crime and are agents of the court not the people. They are the biggest threat to freedom in this country. Im sure someone will tell me who am i gonna call if a crack head busts down my door. I would like to point out the police still didnt prevent that crime but i can with mr smith and wession. Taking part in a community will also prevent crime. Knowing your community and knowing the community will defend them selves is greater protection than any police force. The consitution hasnt been taught in schools for decades. The idea of using your freedoms and or going against the authority is being demonized. Americans are taught to sue a restruant/mall because the person was careless and fell. Its a brave new world hopefully this 10th amendment movement will actually occur and freedom can once again be tasted

Find a Tea Party near you on July 04. We need to take back our Country from corrupt government. 2010 send all of the Spendocrats packing. Elect fiscally responsible candidates Red or Blue or any color in between.

The point here is right on the money - we need to recognize where the source of our problems lies.
