Sue - it certainly is amazing what's happening. I personally think the efforts to resist DC are nearly unprecedented in recent history. 2 federal laws are in the process of being nullified and state-level actions against 4 or 5 others are underway. Hope to see you here more in the future!

I am 64 yrs.old and never did I ever think I would live long enough to see what is happening to our country.I hope and pray that our state Sovereignty is restored , very soon!!!!! I was born and raised in S.C. and have lived here all my life except for 4 mos. we were in Fla. I love my state and my country very much ,so much that it literally makes me sick seeing what our so called federal government is doing. It is time for change alright , we need to change out every person in Washington that won't agree to govern our Republic by our Constitution and Bill of Rights !!!

South Carolina was the fifth State to pass a resolution asking that the Liberty Amendment be submitted to the States for ratification. It is now heavily involved in the Tenth Amendment which is the roots of the Liberty Amendment. The Tenth Amendment should be tightly connected to the Liberty Amendment which is necessary before we can restore our Sovreignty and Constitutional Government. I suggest that everyone who is now engaged in the Tenth Amenmdent read up on the Liberty Amendment and know where it stands to day in getting States approval. freeland@libertyamendment www.libertyamendment.org

Val, I'm confident that there's courage left in this country, and people like you remind me how much of it is out there.

As far as South Carolina, this whole movement towards state sovereignty of late reminds me more and more of South Carolinas and the principles of Nullification in 1832.

The 1860 secession of SC was the result of the leadership of a few determined individuals, and a chain of events that outraged almost all Southerners.
We may now be looking at a similar chain of events that will disinfranchize the people of the South from the federal government.
The question is, do we now have the moral courage to act as our ancestors did?

I am so proud(as a Sandlapper) that my home state has taken this step as I cannot see any other way to make D.C. wake up and furthermore, for this country to long survice. How good it would be to see the state I now live in, North Carolina, take similar steps, but we don't have Sanford here.

To take back this country we need to find and empower new leaders at the local level and give our state legislatures back the power that the federal government has usurped.

Here is a tool for educating, finding and developing these needed leaders

If not now, when? If not us, who?
