She Only allows certain drug companies to get approval for their drugs. She took the Breast Cancer medicine, Avastin, off the market despite hundreds of thousands of women and Oncologists begging her not to. When these patients and their Doctors asked the drug company to sue the FDA the drug company said they had been warned by the FDA that if they sued them they would sure that no other drug invented by that company would ever be approved! The drug company said they are afraid of Hamburg because she is untouchable! This is mobster tactics...and has nothing to do with "protecting people"! It is all about power and money and the FDA is out of control with both of these! We have hope if we get rid of obama... Hamburg is his appointee and she indeed answers to no one! Our only hope is to elect whoever runs against him! Ron Paul said that he would dissolve the FDA because all they do is keep good medicine away from the people who need it!! Without obama Hamburg is finished! Sorry to politicize this issue but the FDA is so corrupt that unless we take her power away, we will be doomed! @Tired of the game

These are people that we can actually know and can talk to. CAll and write our reps and senators all the time about this. I do. They dont want to be sick either. Believe it or not many of them have no clue. The FDA is guilty of helping the Pharm companies kill many of us but they are not going away as long as $$$$$$$$$$$$ is involved. Put your energy and activism on a new focus, your state government - where you can actually have a chance to affect the outcome. We see more and more successes every month. I need treatment for spinal cord injuries and I have to jump through a billion hoops because the FDA is worried I might try to use it to become a football player or something. It is absurd. I have been getting progressively worse because the FDA is "protecting" me, yet the FDA approved the H1N1 vaccination even though it has shown to produce other neurological issues. Hmmm...I take one drug I get better, the FDA says no. I take another drug I get worse, the FDA says yes. On top of that, yeah there are things in foods that can cause some health issues, I get that, but what I don't understand is why is it that in a time when more rules and regulations are in act than ever before, we have had more food recalls after a large number of people get sick than we've had before? I swear, I think the more the FDA controls the system, the worse we are. Just let people live their lives, if we get sick, we will get better.
