Austin - there are a very dedicated group of people out there that believes that just some legalese will save us all....

In this case, the claim is generally that there are 2 constitution - the original and one that has been usurped. We somehow have the 2nd today - and it only applies to the corporate us or washington DC.

In reality, it is little more than a farce. In practice, even if it were not, it holds no grounds in practice....because going to courts and claiming that they hold no authority does not work.

U.S. citizens exist in government records as legal fictions of law with a commercial charachter regulated in commerce. Everyone identified by any,or all parts of one's name spelled in all capital letters is seen through lens of law and court as being a 14th Ammendment person. A position of law the Founders never existed under nor would self contract into being. "New Deal " bifurcation,by way of birth certificates and all govt.documents circulated being 14th Ammendment federal citizen recognition documents, is what impairs original powers of people. States rights and powers are impacted by U.S. citizens collectively recognized as being extensions of Congress in whatever state they reside. Its what depopulates the republic. Its what makes self evident we are not the people the Founders envisioned or intended. Mr. Palmer may be right, but whats discussed is irrelevant and nonapplicable by everyone being taught to self contract out of thir birth right and the legacy and heritage of the Founding Fathers' People succession.

Johnny, I'm not following you. I've never heard of what you are talking about and now I am curious. The 14th was intended to ensure States protected the life, liberty, and property of freed slaves in the same way white persons were protected (due process in court cases, contracts, etc.) and to ensure States afforded freed slaves the privileges and immunities as captured in Article IV of the Constitution.

The bigger picture is that we are all governed under a bifurcation form of governance. Who one is in relation to govt. determines what law applies and attaches. In Hooven v. Evatt, U.S. Supreme Court evidences 2 United States operating in law simultaneously. There are 2 Constitutions. One FOR, one OF. In law ,everything OF is subject to the higher authority of what its OF. Congress authored the Constitution OF. Founding Fathers authored Constiution FOR. U.S. citizens are all subject to the 14th Ammendment scope and purview Congress created. Founders never existed in law as U.S. citizens. There is a Diversity of Citizenship Doctrine recognized, but the citizenship that predates Congress origin is omitted. Point being: there are 2 classes of people, 2 Constitutions, 2 United States.

I take your comment to refer to the fact that the seceding states were not allowed to envoke the eternal principles of the Declaration of Independence but were forced to agree to Amendments passed, by the point of the bayonet mind you, without regard to Article V of the U.S. Constitution. Odd isn't it?

In regard to the 14th , the constitution is a fiction if one party can force another party to amend it and not be allowed to leave. When the government itself that is supposed to be authorized under a constitution can force the changes to what it can do, to what that instrument says, then an instrument that was meant to limit that government is no more.

It is important to point out that the first eight amendments apply only to what the Founders would call the General Government or we would call the federal government, not the States. And no, the 14th Amendment, as understood by its ratifiers, does not incorporate them against the States.
