Even if this nasty little piece of liberty eating garbage becomes law, the states could again employ the tactic that stopped another freedom sucker, the REAL ID bill a few years ago. The states asserted their sovereignty against REAL ID and it was turned back.

DC may have ceased to be relevant ultimately if one looks at the trajectory of the 10th movement. Lobbyists will have to split their time across the 50 states if the descriptions in the 10th Amendment are used as a guide.

The govt dosen care. It is clear close to 1/2 the people in america are against govt run HC. Every day more people get educated on the dangers and that number grows. Has it slowed that person who thinks he is the persident of the world. Until the states take action to defend themselves these actions will continue. Thankfully the people are gettin educated about the truth behing national HC. I highly doubt this new read Id will pass. The states are gettin ballsy and are begining to assert themselves. It happened with Real Id and it will happen with National Hc it will happen here to. The govenors have realise there power and the people are slowly waking up. Hopefully the people will resist the mass forced vaccinations. And the people will then have a chance at real freedom again. Resist the fear mongering and keep calm and headstrong

Darkwolfe, I believe you're right. Although there's probably some that were primarily concerned with funding.

Bottom line, like Jeffersonian said - with widespread state-level resistance, the feds can't do much. that included gun restrictions, the drug war, national health care, and pass id too.

Just remember this, from the feds themselves:

"We cannot have national standards for driver’s licenses when the states themselves refuse to participate."
