This is the best possible news except for federal legaliaztion of cannabis. I suffer from chronic nausea and vomiting due to Diabetic Neuropathic Gastroparesis. There is no drug for control of chronic nausea and vomiting no matter what it is caused from. Only inhaled cannabis vapors offer safe and effecient relief from chronic nausea and vomiting. The most often prescribed drug for my condition is Regalen/Metroclopramide which if used daily causes irreversible Parkinson like shakes and tremore,and this is legal?!?! Yet in the pig state of Iowa marijuana is as addictive and destructuive as heroin as per Senior Sen Tom Harkin (D-Ia.) who, when asked by me via email as to why medical marijuana is illegal in Iowa even though the State Pharmacutical Board has Cannabis in both schedule I and II catagories, he told me, "If you smoke marijuana, you will findself huddled in a corner willing to sell your children for just one more puff of marijuana." That's the Feds stand on marihuana which Iowa blindly follows so as not to loose state funding. What Bushshit! Since I am on disability the state pays over $700 for 60 Marinol pills a month. They are better than anything legally available but they are totally useless when compared to real medical marijuana or even commercial marijuana (aka schwag.) Let's see if our new president, whoever that will be, will really make some changes regarding marijuana, medical marijuana and the outdated and racially motivated anti-marijuana laws. This is a cry for help from a senior citizen.
