It will take twenty years or more of public outrage to erase the damage he has done to our consitution and our Republic. Most Democrats would be happy to use the enlarged Executive powers Bush has claimed. Don’t trust any politicians! If there is change, it will come from the streets, from protesters being beaten by police, provoked by secret agents, and wire-tapped and warrantless-searched activists.
Vilified as anti-american, enemy agents, and possibly al-Qaeda, Revolutionary Americans will either regain our lost liberty, or be forced to overthrow the whole edifice.
We have lost more liberty in the last seven years than was gained in the whole student-activist phase of the 1960s-1970s.

I do not even think the word, hubris, does justice to this arrogance. Not only is he incompitent; he thinks so highly of his abilities that he is prepared to disregard all checks and balances that are supposed to be enacted in order to prevent his domination of this country, not to mention this country’s interaction with the rest of the world.
