SCR1 was introduced in Iowa on 01/27/09. It reads:

A concurrent resolution claiming state sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over certain mandates imposed on states by the federal government.

SCR1609 was introduced in Kansas on 02/11/09. It reads:

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION claiming sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over certain powers; serving notice to the federal government to cease and desist certain mandates; providing that certain federal legislation be prohibited or repealed; and directing distribution.

We’ll continue to make efforts to report on new legislation as it’s introduced, but it’s essential that all of you continue contacting us with any information you’re coming across locally. Thanks for all the feedback!
