The unseemly legislative conduct (the Founders would have called it “corruptionâ€) leading up to the vote have communicated even to those previously not paying attention that federal politicians are now absolutely, utterly out of control. The majority in Congress has rendered it perfectly clear that there is no constitutional or legal restriction they will not violate.

The ultimate goal of most in the Tenth Amendment movement is to restore constitutional limits to the federal government. Our Constitution – not any peripheral or personal causes – is what we are working for.

My original motivation in this effort was not to promote partisan politics. It was not an emotional effort to “strike a blow for freedomâ€, nor was it a revengeful effort to put the Federal Government “in its placeâ€. It was and still is a matter of SURVIVAL.

The 10th goes right for the jugular of federal power, it changes the overall dynamics and it does this through a legal means.
