Government only works by cooperation or agreement of the people. With the Tea party, the door has been opened that we as a group do not have to cooperate.

If large groups of "we the people" refuse to follow mandates, rules or laws, what can government do?
Throw 10,000 people in jail?

All we can individually do is to persevere and to try to change minds. Of course, a more potent alliance of Tenthers, Tea Partiers and members of other patriotic organizations nationwide has a better chance of making a difference both at the state and federal levels. We're simply too spintered to do more than loudly whimper. Wish these organizational leaders would call for a Patriot Conveniton to develop a more united and activist agenda. Until that happens, we're essentially preaching to the choir. Don't mean to be negative, but reality can be a bitch.

I agree 100% Jim…. But the $9,000,000 question, is why hasn't nullification been done already?? How can we get corrupt republicans and corrupt democrats, and the other crooks under different hats, to do what we need them to do???

kebozarth, while I applaud and ecourage such localized efforts, I honestly can't imagine anything more powerful and effective than a State's openly and assertively invoking its 10th amendment right to nullify.

Jim Delaney; Our Constitutional County Sheriffs have more power and authority in their Counties than the State or our federal government. That's a good place to start don't you think?

There are 3,141 counties and county equivalents in the 50 States and the District of Columbia.

Influence our Constitutional Sheriffs in all 3,141 Counties/Parishes, etc. to keep their Oaths and protect our Rights and Freedoms and our Constitution and Bill of Rights from all enemies foreign and domestic.

What say you?.

all good examples except the one about the kid who couldn't sit still. Some kids really are hyperactive and no amount of paddling is going to get them to sit still. Until you have a child who has ADHD, you really won't understand that these are not troublemakers or undisciplined kids.
The answer for these kids is to take them out of the school environment and homeschool them until at least high school when they do have self-control and can sit still.
