Repeal the 17th Amendment, and bring the states,. as states, get back into the federal government.

As to the size of the House, there is a precedent for the suggestion made here. The State of New Hampshire, one of the smallest in the Union, has a House of 400 members for 1,324,375 people (2009), which is one representative for 3,311 people. Their salary? $200 per biennium.

I would also like to see State Assemblies poll the people in their smaller districts and take their concerns to the Congressional members.

Repeal general elections for US Senators so that they are not beholden to campaign contributors.

Task Congressmen/women with finding out what the constituents want from Washington.

I don't want more federal people on payroll. I want less.
