Wow, you teabaggers sure do not like America any more. Every time you talk it's about how horrible America is now. Your pining for the world of 300 years ago is just weird. It's the 21st century, and you should learn to not be so fearful, paranoid and angry. I've heard many teabaggers say people who don't like America should leave. Maybe you should take your own advice.

The general government is the arbiter of its own power, it will continue to grow, regardless of the vaunted safeguards that are built into the sytem; elections, separation of powers, constitution…etc

Good article, I would take issue with that last point, however, that the rest of the world fears America. America, declined as it has is still the a beacon of hope for many in oppressed areas, as evident by the constant influx of those people into our country, both legally and illegally.
