[...] Now for the obvious question: What next? As indicated, one answer is nullification, and it seems a much heavier lift to fix the Constitution than to nullify a federal law. As cries for nullification increase, so do the misguided statements that nullification is an obsolete theory. On one major conservative blog I was amazed to find a moderator reply to my call for nullification by stating that “nullification is for losers”. I would recommend this moderator watch the video Forgotten Lessons from the Nullification Crisis. [...]

Great stuff, thanks for sharing this! I really like the video format as it will be easier to share with some people. hope you do more soon!
We are working on that as I write this! It's a project I'm really excited to be a part of!
likewise! A lot of people aren't necessarily interested in reading, so this kind of content can get their attention.
The essential question I have on this – do people still think that voting the bums out every year will get us anywhere?
Nicely done, and I hope the editorial view of the video is correct. But I can't help wondering if it is a bit rosy. In the resolution of the1832 nullification crisis it should not be overlooked that the action of congress was textbook carrot and stick. The authorization to use force behind that of negotiation affected the threshold at which South Carolina was satisfied. That too may be a forgotten lesson.
It is already clear to the president and congress that the public have withdrawn their consent on healthcare and spending at a minimum.. To what effect? Usurpation continues apace, and seemingly, with renewed vigor.
"Divided power" is of course nonsensical, since there can only be ONE final say regarding where power lies over a state. However it's irrelevant to quibble over whether this power is held by state or federal government– since NO goverments have ANY power, other than what's delegated to them the people of the indvidual people OF the state in question.
However, the federal government has woven a tangled web of lies to give itself absolute power, which it shares with the ruling mob, and justifies it as "democracy" (or as Franklin said, "two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch").
Of course this distorts history, since every state ratified the Constitution as a sovereign nation– and nothing in the Constitution COMPROMISES this sovereignty. Likewise, the federal government freely admits this, by arguing only that its supremacy over any state was "settled in the Civil War–" i.e. DICTATED by force!
And thus, we have since dwelt under a DICTATORIAL REGIME, whose power was usurped solely by brute force, via the precedent of killing 1/4 million state-citizens who DENIED this claim!
(continued)
It's hard to believe that anyone can read this fact, and NOT revile in protest;; but this is due "censorship by discreditation," i.e. ever since the War Between the States, the federal government and state-majority have discredited anyone who disputes federal sovereignty over the states, from holding ANY position of authority on the matter in law or academia. And so the public believes it sees the Emperor's robe– because anyone who DOESN'T see it, is either considered insane– or dead.
Having recently served on a jury in a criminal trial the subject of JURY NULLIFICATION came up by the prosecuting attorney during jury selection. The prosecuting attorney said it is not the jurys decision if a law is right, but the jury can only determine if a law has been broken. Under Obamacare and other 'laws' of this regime, jurors will be well advised to excercise this right over a tyranical government. Sit on a jury and then stop the tyranny of this regime by jury nullification of the many 'crimes' against the state imposed by Obamacare, it is one the last right citizens have to stop tyranical governments from ruling. Jury nullification requires only one vote to stop a conviction from an unjust law.
Remember, during jury selection the prosecuting attorney will be looking to cull those who would excercise jury nullification, so hold you tongue and support his position then when you go to decide the case hold your ground and stop a tryannical government from usurping our freedoms.
