It’s Not Just Obama, It’s the System

Executive TyrantsLet us assume for the moment that it became revealed that Barak Obama was not a natural born citizen of the United States, proving that he was ineligible to be President of the United States. Ok, now what? Would Obama be removed from office? Perhaps. Then what? Joseph Biden would be our next President. Ok, then what? Would the United States be freer? Would the States and the people regain their sovereignty stolen by the federal government? Would America’s form of government revert back to its original nature and character of 1787? Would self-government, the consent of the governed, limited government and federalism once again become the guiding principles throughout these states united? Would the ideals and principles of freedom once again become popular, accepted and advanced by the people and their agents in government?

Since the Confederate States of America lost the war in 1865 against the union-destroying aggressions of Abraham Lincoln and his military, the federal government has egregiously encroached upon the powers and sovereignty of the people and the states respectively. Regulations, controls, taxation, deception, falsehoods, subterfuge, “bait and switch” have all been the norm. Thievery under “color of law” has been their modus operandi. Through myriad usurpations, all three branches of the federal government have suppressed and oppressed true freedom throughout these states. It has, through masquerade and fraud, turned our original federal form of government into a national, seemingly-all-powerful empire. It has overtaken virtually every major element of society. It has bribed (and in some cases, forced) corporations, churches, states and citizens into giving the federal government our own powers and resources, with the promise of giving them back, of course, at our expense and with their demands. The federal government has unjustifiably entangled itself in the affairs of foreign nations, corporate elites and bankster mobs. It owns major media, education institutions and religious minds across America. In essence, it has created a seemingly impenetrable matrix of fraud, deceit and corruption, Republic or Democrat in the White House notwithstanding.

Despite the well-intentioned efforts and thoughts of many in America who feel that removing Obama from the Presidency, based upon constitutional grounds (i.e. Article 2, Section 1, Clause 4), will somehow restore freedom to America, this simply is not the case and entirely misses the true crux of the problem. Do not misunderstand what I am saying: most certainly the constitution should be followed, and we the people of the states and the state governments should insist on it. No one believes that more than I. However, this fact must be realized before freedom will ever show its face again in America: the federal government (and those who control it) is not salvageable; its usurpations and encroachments are treasonous; its blatant unconstitutional actions have put the people of these states in a state of war; and without true revolution, freedom will never be restored in America.

The federal government–and by current default, the states–operates under a system and form contrary to freedom as expressed in America’s Declaration of Independence. It operates under the form of government which history proves is the enemy of a free republic. It operates under the very form of government that our founders rejected in September 1787 and that the ratifiers of the constitution rejected thereafter. It operates under a top-down structure, whereby the states and the people are mere subjects and corporations of the centralized head–the very form our founding generation seceded from in 1776. Freedom’s current plight in America has little to do with Obama being illegitimate as the President and has everything to do with the people of the states being controlled by a governmental system we never created or approved.

Even a brief look at recent history will reveal the numerous examples where the people have attempted to hold the federal government accountable to the constitution. Yet, that same government is more powerful and corrupt than ever, and the people and states are weaker and more oppressed than ever. It would not matter in the slightest if Obama were removed and replaced with Biden, Pelosi, McCain, Bush, Clinton, Gingrich, Palin, Scarborough, or any other eligible President. A new President would no more change the form and system of the federal government than would pumping trillions of dollars of tax payer monies create a stable and sound economic system in America. Just as America’s paper currency (the dollar) is not backed by a solid foundation (e.g. gold-silver standard), so too the executive branch of the federal government is not backed by substantive principles of freedom.

Make no mistake about this: there has not been a United States President elected since 1861 that has advocated for the true principles of federalism and freedom, and both major political parties have only cemented and built upon the previous President’s legacy of federal power at the expense of the states and people. If you think that freedom will be restored because a Republican who claims to be pro-life, pro-family, or pro-business sits in the White House, you are mistaken. If you think that Obama’s true birth place being revealed will restore all that we have lost for over 100 years and will somehow decapitate the head of the beast (thereby granting victory to “conservative America”), think again.

Those who have controlled the federal system have shown their intent of ignoring, demeaning and contradicting the United States Constitution. They care nothing of it, and only lead us to believe they do just to get elected. As Nancy Pelosi laughed when recently being asked the question, “Does the constitution grant Congress the power to pass the national health care bill?”, she only illustrated both the latent and patent practice and philosophy the federal government has possessed for generations. Do we need any more evidence at this point to conclude that our federal government is unconstitutional in its actions, powers and intentions? I think not. The only question is, what do we do about it?

In 1776, the delegates from the colonies met in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in attempts to rectify the unconstitutional political actions of their national government. Like many of us today, they knew the designs of their government to reduce them to submissive slaves; they knew their government overstepped the authority given them by the consent of the governed; they knew that their government had committed acts of “repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States.” So, what did they decide to do? Replace their king with a new king? Use the court system to invalidate the illegal actions of the king? Use parliament to address their grievances to the king? Try to establish that the king was not of the hereditary lineage legally capable of being king? Wait until a new king would assume the throne to accomplish freedom? None of the above.

Instead, our founding generation secured the blessings of liberty by doing what all free peoples decided to do throughout history when confronted with the evident intents of tyrannical government: they became independent from the source of tyranny. They declared their natural right to govern themselves. They formed and constituted government by and on the consent of the governed. They ridded themselves of the entire system of the “long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object [which evinced] a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism.” They became independent and sovereign states!

You claim to love freedom: you do well. But freedom will never be restored by replacing Obama with Biden, nor will it be restored by establishing that Obama is not legally eligible to hold the executive office. You claim to love the constitution: you do well. But the constitution will never be restored until the principles, form and system it created are restored. You claim that Obama’s birth certificate is crucial in restoring freedom? Your thoughts are likely pure, but your focus is misplaced. There have been open and notorious unconstitutional actions forced upon us by the federal government over the past 140 years. What makes this particular issue the winning contestant in restoring freedom?

Moreover, where are those in the federal government also demanding what you claim is so crucial to restoring the constitution? Where are those in the federal government demanding that the federal government give the states and the people back their money and power? Where are those in the federal government demanding that the tenth amendment be adhered to? Where are those even considering running for a federal position who preach and practice concepts of federalism? Where is the federal judicial system that even understands what federalism is and is willing to contradict ninety years of court opinions and rulings that have virtually stripped states of their retained rights under the tenth amendment? Where are the federal political statesmen who proclaim that the federal government be resisted by the voice and the arm of the states, as Alexander Hamilton explained? The answer is, no where!

The questions that should be asked are the ones whose answers provide real solutions to restoring our Confederate Republic. The solutions sought should not be ones whose only end simply replaces one quarterback for another; yet all the while, their team continues to control us by insisting that we play their game by their rules in their (home) stadium with their referees, all of which are controlled by those sitting in the glass boxes overhead who smoke their cigars, drink their wine, play with their whores and laugh at us as we drudge through the game thinking that we are gaining ground when we lose only ten yards instead of twenty. As Thomas Jefferson wrote, “such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government.”

Our methods of change are proven ineffectual, the expressed terms of the constitution notwithstanding. It is time for a different course of action–a course that has already been given to us by principle and practice. It is time that we the people of the states think in the pure political and philosophical terms that formed our country and secured our freedom in 1776. It is time that the states of this country reclaim what has been taken from us and to reignite the flames of independence and federalism which will cause freedom to burn brightly for us and our posterity for years to come.

You all remember the Wizard of Oz? Remember when Dorothy snatched back the curtain and saw that the all-powerful wizard was all smoke and mirrors? Do you remember the Real ID Act from a few years ago? Remember how many states said they wouldn't abide by it? Do you remember the Feds response to that? Yes, it is still "postponed", which means they don't know how to force it on us and don't want the confrontation. It is probable that the Feds simply no longer have the power or the means to enforce their will on millions of us and dozens of states if we just refuse to go along. They pull the strings of apparent power from behind their beltway curtain. What is their recourse? Bomb us into submission? Send in the army? Kick us out of the union? Occupy thousands of square miles peopled by an angry and non-compliant populace? Occupy with WHAT? Local authority? I think not. Can the Federal courts "force" millions of us to comply with laws and regulations and taxes and programs that the majority of us don't want? Can Congress do that? Can ANYTHING do these things if we simply refuse?

There is a general failure in libertarianism and anarchism to distinguish between the "state", whic is always opposed by God as an unrighteous Babel to be overcome, and civil government (of the People, by the People, for the People) which is ordained by God. Organization and decision-making occurs at every level; there is no quick fix of simply abolishing something and all is Utopia. As Gary North says, "You cannot beat something with nothing." The Declaration and Constitution were a good historical start at enunciating "something" -- decentralized, limited, and more local.

If what you are advocating is nullification, I'm with you. If however what you are suggesting is a constitutional convention I say not yet. It would in no way behoove us to replace the political ideas of our founding fathers with those of present politicians. As you mentioned in your article the problem is not political, it is systematic. Questions of systems are philosophic in nature. Before we can have a successful constitutional convention we need a philosophical and moral revolution. A government based on INDIVIDUAL rights and the primacy of capitalism can not be achieved or maintain by a people who hold an altruistic moral code.

They can be beat! But, when you start talking about revolution as if every state is 100% behind you (or even a majority), your intellectualism has blinded you with arrogance or momentary stupidity. What you speak of involves blood and bullets. Sounds patriotic, but dangerous for you to be spouting at this time.

I say that as a friend as hard as it may for you to take it as such. If I am able to actually get on the ballot next summer, I hope that you and your center will join with me in my cause (now would be much better), rather than rationalize and make excuses as to why you shouldn't or how you and (who?) is going to put the "government" in their place with their blood and bullets. How do organize such a revolution when the people can't even vote intelligently or responsibly as Michelle pointed out?

I agree it's the System that is failing us. The logic of the argument falls apart, however, when you suggest we should ignore one part of the Constitution while complaining the Constitution is not being followed.

You ask "Would the United States be freer?" I say Yes! Not in a big way, obviously, but a step in the right direction. One of the arguments the courts make is that we the people do not have standing with regard to challenging the eligibility of Barack Hussein Obama Jr. to be President. This is how "the System" views its citizens. The courts, our representatives in government, and the officers within the two-party system, they all believe we the people are irrelevant. In their eyes, we the people who have empowered the government are not allowed to make a Constitutional challenges. The logic is absurd. We the people, the citizens of the Nation, are the ones who, via the power granted us by the grace of the Architect of the Universe, formed the union of these States united. How can it be that active duty military, presidential electors, presidential candidates, and registered voters fail to have standing in a court of law when asking the Constitution be upheld. The source of power for the government is the very foundation upon which the Tenth Amendment is based. Let them to disallow a challenge of Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 based on standing, and you might as well close down the Tenth Amendment Center.

The point about challenging Barack Hussein Obama Jr's eligibility is not to remove him; it is to uphold the Constitution of the United States. The point is not to restore America, it is to put a line in the sand... we will not allow the Constitution to be trampled on. The two-party system is working hard in an obvious attempt to fundamentally change America. They are attacking we the people in many directions. Let's not attack one another where we agree. Let us attack our enemy on many fronts.

Your use of compare and contrast was well done. I'm merely suggesting you are attacking the wrong people. Most of those who wish to ensure Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 is being upheld, also realize it is only a small part of a much larger problem, a problem you have very correctly described.

As far as Obama being replaced by Biden or Pelosi, you obviously aren't using your educated brain enough, my friend. I tell you what. You folks give me a chance. Give me the support necessary to mount a campaign against the RINO in my district who already has 1/2 million in his war chest. Help get the word out and get people sending the money to support my campaign.

I say let me go up to Capitol Hill and call Biden, Pelosi, and Obama the traitors that they are to their face. Let me stand on the floor of the House of Representatives and accuse them of treason. Let me call all the members of Congress to account and call them the traitors and cowards that they are if they continue to ignore this.

Make them and make America define what Treason is. Make them and make America choose which course of action they wish to take. Either submit to the NWO and the Global Government now being finalized, or stand up for freedom and defend our National Soveriegnty, our 50 States' sovereignty, and our Christian Constitution and Republic. 2010 is a year to try every option possible and for you to intellectualize as to why Obama should not be exposed (it's not just the bc), is disappointing to say the least. We have momentum on our side. If they were in total control we would not be blogging online or rallying in the streets or even enjoying what freedom we have left.

Someone posted earlier that his entire administration would have to leave if found ineligible. This is partially correct. All those who had anything to do with him being elected, as well as both houses of congress, and the supreme court will be guilty of treason. Some through attempting to illegally overthrow the government, others by having violated the Oath they swore to 'uphold and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic'. If ruled ineligible(won't happen) it will destroy the fedgod. One can always 'hope'.

While I enjoyed the article, it does not lay out a way ahead. Meaningless platitudes like "the people must retake control" mean very little when solid actions are called for. I wish I could propose a solution, but we are the frog in a boiling pot of water. After 150 years of our rights gradually (in some administrations drastically) eroding, how do we go forward from here to restore our government? While I am generally an optomist, I confess I am pessimistic about this issue. Congress has failed for over 100 years to maintain the republican form of government their oaths call for. While I participate in my local TEA Party, the truth is that this is a massive job that will require simultaneous actions across a national spectrum -- and it will be fought tooth and nail by all newspapers and every politician from both major parties. Do we need to do something? Yes. What do we do? I don't know.

I'm a Christian, too. While I am active in this movement, trying to do what I believe is right - that is defend the liberty of both this generation and the next - I am constantly reminding myself of that wonderful hymn:

Insanity has been defined as repeatedly attempting the impossible, while each time expecting to succeed. A republic begins with the premise that every citizen will behave rationally and ethically every day of his life.

In our materialist, self-indulgent nation, most of us behave neither rationally nor ethically. The 18th century royalists observed that serfs can neither deserve nor can they control personal liberty. Our nation has gone a long way to proving them right.

That our republic has degenerated into an oligarchy controlled by an evil syndicate cannot be argued. But what could cause us to believe that installing a new, 'improved', secular government will succeed?

The prophet Samuel's warnings in the Old Testament (1Sam 8) have held true for the last several millenia. To this day, those of us who put their faith in secular government force us all to be the king's servants. Although I, too, hold dear the hopes expressed by Mr. Baldwin, I have to ask, "What makes our generation sane in the belief that we can somehow improve upon the grace of God?"

I don't know why we'd want out of the U.S. only to be ruled by state governments, many of which are worse the Feds. States, like the country itself, are an anachronism. We may need to re-build ourselves as a people, but I can't see that entities called "New Mexico," "Kansas" "Ohio" or "Rhode Island" are much of an improvement over an entity called "The United States."

Replacing one organized armed gang with a multitude of smaller armed gangs is a solution to nothing. The law itself must be taken completely away from any of these armed gangs that we call governments. It must be put back into the hands of the jury's and they must be limited in their authority to use force to the case at hand. The only alternative to that is what we have. I don't know if people are capable of organizing themselves like that or not. But if we are not to have total government then we must make our own laws as the individual case calls for us to do.

We can take a giant step in restoring state sovereignty in the 2010 elections, IMO, if we do the following. Learning from the socialist motto, "never waste a good crisis," Constitution-defending patriots need to do this. They need to make it clear to voters that they need to be rescued from a union thug who is unthinkingly exercising nonexistent federal powers from the Oval Office on behalf of special interest factions who are as clueless about the Constitution as he is.

More specifically, patriots need to get the word out to new and existing voters that we need to elect pro-state power lawmakers to both the state and federal legislatures for the midterm elections. Once in office, these pro-state power lawmakers can politically repeal the ill-conceived, anti-state sovereignty 16th and 17th Amendments, much like Constitution-ignoring DC Democrats are essentially repealing the rest of the Constitution at this time. Pro-state power lawmakers can do so by using their legislative votes to eliminate constitutionally unauthorized federal taxes, and likewise illegal federal government interference in people's lives.

Finally, the following link should help give people an idea how state sovereignty-ignorant voters have shot themselves in the foot with big, corrupt federal government as a consequence of the ill-conceived, anti-state sovereignty 16th and 17th Amendments.

Great points, Michelle. It is the people's responsibility to be the vanguard of the republic, a job that has been too widely ignored. I have seen most of the conspiracy documentaries and while I don't discount them, you really don't have to look that deep to see the corruption and contempt for the American people amongst the ruling elite. What they do in broad daylight should be shocking enough to those who want to see.

I don't see how the Constitution can be restored in practice to pre-1861 realities, but the 10th Amendment can be refreshed and restored. Why don't the states begin by not taking No Child Left Behind Moneys. Education is the purview of the States. The establishment of the Dept. of Education in the late 1920's was a big mistake. Now that mistake has been compounded by allowing Federal expansion under NCLB. Further, there is a movement that has been signed off on by 36 states I believe to have national educational standards. National healthcare? National education standards? National energy policy? Loss of sovereignty to a one world government? We must fight these policies with everything in us. Give financially to organizations that are fighting this. And let's not forget to re-double our prayers to Almighty God for His mercy even in the midst of these judgments. We need the mighty King of Glory to continue to lead the charge into the midst of all enemies of liberty, foreign and domestic.

We can take a giant step in restoring state sovereignty in the 2010 elections, IMO, if we do the following. Learning from the socialist motto, "never waste a good crisis," Constitution-defending patriots need to play off the crisis created by union thug Obama exercising constitutionally nonexistent federal powers on behalf of special interest factions.

More specifically, we need to get the word out to the voters that we need to elect pro-state power lawmakers to both the state and federal legislatures for the midterm elections. Once in office, these pro-state power lawmakers can politically repeal the ill-conceived, anti-state sovereignty 16th and 17th Amendments, much like Constitution-ignoring DC Democrats are essentially repealing the rest of the Constitution at this time. Pro-state power state and federal lawmakers can do so by using their votes to eliminate constitutionally unauthorized federal taxes, and likewise illegal federal interference in people's lives.

Finally, the following link should help give people an idea how state sovereignty-ignorant voters have shot themselves in the foot with big, corrupt federal government as a consequence of the ill-conceived, anti-state sovereignty 16th and 17th Amendments.

Somebody mentioned that we should not have standing to seek redress other than by the vote.

I reject this.

They (the feds) take my money and give it to 3 or 4 other people and effectively render my vote meaningless by people that do not pay taxes and should have no stake in this nation's government.

I know it's "legal" to do that under the current regime, but I maintain it is, in its essence, corrupt. The voting process has been corrupted.

Michelle, well said. Bloodshed should always be the LAST option, and then only in defense. We need to start exercising our rights by voting. We need to support our state government representatives now that they are finally awakening as this site proves. This is a country of laws, albeit in my opinion way too many laws. Case in point, my wife was just cited for having a rooster in an agriculture zoned area because there is a conflicting law that states no roosters in the city..... but you can raise and market poultry in agriculture zoning within the city. It's like saying you must walk on the left side of the road, but you will be arrested if you don't walk on the right side of the road... but... bottom line, we the people have not tried "voting" yet, so before anyone talks of voting with bullets I think EVERYONE should try voting with "ballots" first. Then we can repeal and replace the laws as necessary with the newly elected constitution supporting government officials!

Revolution?! Does anyone REALLY think this could possibly happen without bloodshed?!? I lived through the 60's, and believe me, those soldiers and police that many of our citizens idolize WILL arrest, beat, jail, or even shoot the very same citizens if given the order to do so. If the power elite in ANY country feels truly threatened ( the U.S. included) they will come out swinging, and that's when the rest of us get to see what they are TRULY made of, despite media attempts to paint their reaction in a positive light.

Let’s face some hard facts, and hopefully wake the patriot community up to the necessity of banning together, without which, we are pissing in the wind.

Number one on my list is the fact that the law of the Nation is useless to us, and no other alternative is available to us other than being able to quickly educate, and accumulate the majority of at least one State in support of issuing a declaration of independence from the federal government, and with the consent of the existing government, and citizen majority, writing a new constitution, and new laws for that state.

Considering the fact that many of the states citizens will revolt, in support of preserving their federal benefits, open warfare will be the results, and in consideration for our friends, neighbors, and family, that cannot support us, we will be faced with either becoming murdering tyrants, or admit defeat.

Can anyone be stupid enough to imagine they can finance the logistical nightmare of educating enough people to the point of really being willing to become homeless, and die with out first having secured the resources needed to form a new state government?

Why is no one willing to admit that a state takeover is our only option to even begin to declare our independence, and just who is going to be capable of attracting enough participants in this new government?

As I see our situation, we need the financial support of enough wealthy people to immediately form a nationally distributed educational curriculum.

The media industry and all forms of existing law enforcement will jump on us like stink on you know what, and our only existing assets are a divided group of internet big mouths.

My fellow freedom lovers there are millions of people out there much smarter than I, and I am descending into despondency waiting on someone to design a way out from under the yoke of this despicable banker, corporatist, government cartel, and reconstruct a free nation.

Why are so many completely unaware that the United States Empire is a threat to the rest of the world, and the bankers have their support in our complete financial destruction?

I can't help but notice that while it is tempting to compare our plight under the federal government (and I agree on the despotic nature of it) to the plight of the founders under King George, there is a stark difference that is often ignored. The colonists had no means of redress except petition. They did petition King George, many times. He ignored them. When all else had failed, they found themselves in a defensive war leading to their separation from British rule.

They had absolutely no peaceful means of changing the government that ruled over them. We do! Thanks to them, we do. We have that so simple, so unexciting thing called the vote. Our founders fought and died to give us the vote so should we find ourselves with our liberties endangered or stolen, we could vote in new leaders every 2,4, and 6 years (and they could more slowly replace our judges). No law in America can not be changed with a new law, no regulation can not be overturned, there is nothing in the system that can not be touched by the legislators, if there are enough of them. Even our own Constitution was designed to be amended.

We have failed. I will say it again. We, Americans, have failed. Not our system, not our Constituion, the failure is totally ours. Granted, anyone reading this (myself included) likely agrees with the author about all of the offenses of the federal government, but year after year Americans en masse vote in politicians promising to do exactly what we consider offenses. These politicians aren't as secretive or as repugnant as we sometimes claim. They continue all these entitlements, they stomp on federalism, all of that, and we Americans keep it coming.

I hate to say it, but there's no system failure. It's a people failure. I believe it has a lot to do with the loss of virtue in this country, but we can argue about causes.

Had the founders had the vote, I promise you they would have kept their fight in that arena. How evil to even consider a violent revolution when you have the opportunity in a year to put in all new representatives (House, obviously). The founders would have used the power of their ideas to appeal to the people. They would have passionately pleaded with the people to love their liberty and to vote in representatives who would protect it, and return it to them, whatever the case may be. They would not have even considered violence, and neither should we.

Of course it seems implausible that we can change the minds of our fellow citizens enough to rescue this great nation. But, I for one, am committed to it. I believe in these American ideals. I trust Americans are simply asleep, uninformed, uninspired, but not altogether lost. And if they are a lost cause, well, we deserve the government that we get in my opinion, because we would have failed. Keep the fight going, and keep it where it should be. Get out and inspire people, inform people, and reach them!

The States are the place to fight now. But long-term, there has long been a strategy to stop and begin the turn around. Howard Phillips formed the U.S Taxpayers Party (as urged by historian Otto Scott, The Compass), now the Constitution Party. He notes that 1/3 plus 1 in the federal House would be a veto-proof minority sufficient to stop spending bills on any unConstitutional legislation. (If Newt Gingrich had not betrayed freshmen with the phony Contract With America some years ago, we were already on that track then).

The virtues that could serve to keep this republic were never lost, they were never held to begin with. The founders, while having developed the most perfect founding document to date, did not develop a moral code that defined individual rights and capitalism (the implication of those rights) as good. Even Thomas Payne who is perhaps best know for his book "The Age of Reason" in which he rips appart the bible by applying logic and reason to it still considered the altruistic moral code of jesus as the most perfect and sublime. INDIVIDUAL rights and capitalism require can not be held as good by a code that preaches sacrifice and selflessness. So long as we take the stance that rights are given by God and that Capitalism is good because it lifts the most people out of poverty, we don't have a leg to stand on.

This was the platform those Democrats stood upon up through Cleveland. The modern Democrats are followers of Rousseau and Marx, and Obama, among many, said the interests of community were more important than are the interests of the individual, and the system upon which that is reflected is the few elite must rule the many as was the tradition of the Old World. Obama wants to take us back to those times.

It's not a matter of what to do, it's a question of if there is the stomach to do it. Obama's election or selection was a mixed blessing. The Marxist marathon has become a Socialist sprint & most of America has/is waking up. But how many are really willing to risk their creature comforts(Blackberries,iPods & Xbox's)? I have read many blogs & while there are some "true Patriots" out there, there are many more that are just "venting". They are waiting to pay back those politicians by beating them up at the ballot box. But the problem lies in the fact that " we the people" that do not hold the elected accountable & we want to throw all the bums out (except the bum who represents us). In addition how many votes are bought off by a single issue? We are willing to "live & let live" as long as we have our single issue supported. Americans need to honestly ask themselves where do they really stand, look at the big picture. But, I wouldn't take to long because the "citizens of the world " in D.C. are hellbent on serving the American taxpayer on a silver platter to the UN.
