I think we need to start penetrating the idea that government is all powerfull by default. So many people seem to think that government is all powerfull that the idea of limited government seems strange or "new" but its how the constitution is written to begin with so its not "new" at all. What is new is the idea that government can do anything it wants and I am getting sick of it. I do what I want but that same freedom is not granted to the government in the constitution so it can not do whatever it wants to.

Agreed. People always seem to default on the – 'government can fix this' kind of thinking. And they're always wrong. There's nothing the government does that couldn't (not necessarily shouldn't) be done by someone else.
