i think it is about time someone stood up to obama and all of is stuff.(i am a christian and could have used other words for him)anyway the federal government is taking on too much.i think that the HCR50 bill is great.it seems to me that obama and his wahington group want to tell us all what we can and can’t do about everything.the next thing you know they will be sending out a form for us to report on how much many we have in the bank,how many guns and how much they are worth,and so on.we will be taxed on every thing we have.in the old days of england and the days of JESUS, THE TAX COLLECTER CAME KNOCKING ON YOUR DOOR.if you were broke, then they thru out of home ,and took every thing else.we need soverinty very,very,much

I agree with so many other comments. It is time for Texas to take care
of Texas. We can close our borders, take care of ourselves without the
Obamaplan, corruption, lies,etc

Texas, I love the way you do things. I really do now if the state I live in(SC) could get it’s head out of it’s ass and follow suit things might just change areound here. But if Texas secedes before that happens then make room for me cause I’ll be coming to stay.

Well Bucky, there’s no doubt in my mind that the whole tax system is a mess at best and criminal at worst. Either way, it’s important for people in TX to get on their state reps to push them to reintroduce a sovereignty resolution next session.

Right on GoTexas. Since the Gov.t wants it’s federal borders open, let’s close the state borders. Everyone stop paying federal tax, if the state taxes income then the federal can’t – double dipping. Only states without income tax should have to pay federal, and at no more than the highest state out there.

There are certain rules that should apply everywhere:
- Consensual Cannot be Criminal
- Rambo’s First Blood Rule
- You break it You buy it

This is the best news I’ve had in years. We are tired of Washington creating crises so the Federal Government can infringe on our rights and the free market economy.

I say it’s about time the states restated their rights and sovereignty.

We are also tired of bailing out states like California with all their “progressive” (liberal) ideas. Texas is too proud and too strong to be bullied into submission by big brother in Washington.
