One other thought. Why was this legislation not passed with unanimous votes in both houses? What were the arguments against states rights? I would like to know who voted against this and their reasons why.

This type support from our legislators will crate an interesting dilema for organizations such as ACORN and any other politican who does not support states rights as well. How they will address this issue is going to be very interesting if they do not support it. what can they say when signing up new voters. That this is not in their best interest? How could it not be. That they will lose influence if not protected by the Federal Govt.? Perhaps this will be their argument.
