I am ashamed of Montel’s LIMITED understanding of the Constitution, the enumerated powers contained therein and the 10th Amendment since we are both Naval Academy graduates. The federal government was created – as you said – by the PEOPLE and only granted LIMITED power to those knuckleheads in Washington. States Rights left all other responsibilities of government to the states (or to the people… see the 9th Amendment) including roads, Montel! Secession is not mentioned in the 10th Amendment but it is CLEARLY implied historically as a State’s Right. That’s why the the USA didn’t prosecute (my President) Jefferson Davis for treason because they knew that the courts would have found him innocent and the needless blood of 620,000 would be on (that tyrant) Abraham Lincoln’s hands.

Great job Michael! I absoluetly believe you reached some liberals with your comments and hey if we can get the gay crowd behind this then its a sure thing!! That is a small but highly dedicated group.

I do believe our more conservative friends my say “well doesn’t sound like its going to make a lot of differnce”. Tough playing both hands at once I know. But it is a huge step forward as far as public attention goes. Congratulations!!!! (eyebrows to hairline)

Thanks Jeff. Can be a tough sell talking to what’s really a quite hostile audience. Tried my best to explain things in a way where people on the left can not only understand where this comes from, but have good reason to support it too.
