Thanks to the due diligence of the many people who’ve been emailing us, we’re proud to add two states to our State Sovereignty Resolutions page, Iowa and Kansas!

SCR1 was introduced in Iowa on 01/27/09.  It reads:

A concurrent resolution claiming state sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over certain mandates imposed on states by the federal government.

SCR1609 was introduced in Kansas on 02/11/09.  It reads:

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION claiming sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over certain powers; serving notice to the federal government to cease and desist certain mandates; providing that certain federal legislation be prohibited or repealed; and directing distribution.
